This is our normal down time as we tend to play mostly for festivals. Remember we will perform for weddings, graduation parties and more! However, during this time we work on new songs and practice the current playlist. Scheduling has begun for this year as the fairs and festivals are looking at their entertainment. We will be back at the Blue Chip Casino, but dates are not confirmed.. I believe they will be on Thursday nights, which often are cash nights. We hope to see you this year.... Read Full Post »

So nice to kick things off for Kewanna's festival Friday. Most things were set up and ready to go by the time we began to play. It is always a pleasure to perform at this festival as there is simply so much to see and do. Kudos to Tom and his gang for organizing and pulling off another great festival this year! As always, take a look at the photo gallery for this festival

Summer's ending...

Well, festivals are winding down for the summer. We still have a few fall festivals and of course the Blue Chip. I sure hope we have seen you at one or more of these festivals. If not... we still have Francesville Fall Festival and the Kewanna Festival. Don't miss these, as I said the festivals are coming to an end and you may have to wait another year for elephant ears! We sure had a nice turn out last week for the Monterey Days Festival. That always makes performing a bit more fun. Anyh... Read Full Post »

Pioneer Festival - Royal Center, IN ~ June 11, 2016

It was SO nice not to have rain this year.  Last year we walked in water almost to our ankles!  As you may know, the weather was "warm" and the Band Booster's Lemon Shake-ups looked mighty fine. People came and went as the little league tournament was also going on next to us.  It was very satisfying to have people come up to us after the game and tell us they were listening and really liked us.  We passed out some business cards and that is always promising. We are n...

Thanks Jerry and all the Knox Moose Lodge 807 for having us back again this year!!  It was a huge success from our point of view.  The dinners sold out and we had a great dancing group of people.  I don't think our pictures give this event enough justice, but look anyway!  Hope to see you at our next show.

New Year's Eve Ball ~ Monterey, IN

Posted by Webmaster on January 25, 2016 at 6:15 PM Comments comments (0)

Due to the flood stage and the concern of the American Legion taking on water, the fun was moved to the Lion's Club.  It was a great place to have a party as the stage allowed the band to be up and away from the dance floor.  There was plenty of dance floor and often was filled with dancers.  .  Thanks to Vicki Zehner and Priscilla,  Doug and Kelli Denton and many others who were actively involved to make this a wonderful evening.

Thank you to the McDonald family for including us this year in the summer series of “Music at the Gazebo”. We have been honored to kick the season off and to finish the season. We love these people; they are so kind and personable. Anyway, it was a cool night, but not unlike a football night. Other than the wind, it really wasn’t so bad. We were prepared for the weather and we believe everyone enjoyed the evening and stayed warm.
